In 2014 Elghaba produced and directed the first Broadway-style play in Egypt Moulin Rouge, based on the American/Australian feature film by Baz Luhrmann. Hear The Motion (cooperation)
“Hear The Motion” is a physical mime play co-directed by the international Czech pantomime artist Radim Vizvary and Rewan Elghaba. It was performed at The High Institute of Theatrical Arts in Cairo, Egypt. The show represents a mix of scenes from “The Mime Show,” scenes created by Radim Vizvary, and original material jointly developed by the international group of artists.

Taxi (co-directing)
In 2013, the American actor/director “Brian Farish” came to Egypt and decided to convert The Egyptian novel Taxi by Khaled Elkhamesy into a play. Both Rewan Elghaba and Brian Farish co-directed the play Taxi which relates a range of stories told from the perspective of Egyptian Taxi drivers and situations from their daily life. The play was performed in the Cairo bar/venue, Vent. It was performed in both Arabic and English.
Law Araf Elshabab
The play “Law Araf Elshabab” by the author Tawfik El-Hakim tells the story of a rich, elderly Egyptian man in the 1950’s with one wish: to be young again. His doctor informs him that he has invented an injection that will return his youth back to him. The old man convinces the doctor to test his new invention on him, and thus begins a series of mishaps, personal discoveries and surprises that eventually reveals the pleasures of life in all its stages. The play was shown first in The High Institute of Theatrical Arts’ Stage (2013) and (2014). Elghaba then reproduced the play in association with the House of Theatre in Egypt. Death
In 2012, Elghaba produced and directed the play Death written by Woody Allen. The play, performed in classical Arabic, presented a post-modernist interpretation of the Allen’s work. It tells the story of a naive citizen who – despite his initial reluctance – gets pulled into the investigation of an unknown murderer. The investigation forces him to leave his cozy apartment and wander the streets at night where he meets several others who are also involved in the same situation without knowing why. Death was presented on The High Institute of Theatrical Art’s Stage.
The Mime Show
The Mime Show (2011) was the first play authored, produced and directed by Rewan Elghaba. The show contains ten different mime scenes, each between 5 to 10 minutes. These scenes mix acting with physical movements and dancing. The play was first shown in venues throughout Cairo, including The High Institute of Theatrical Arts’ Main Stage, “EL-Sayeda Zeinab” neighbourhood, and the International Book Fair in Cairo. In 2014, The Mime Show was the first middle eastern show performed at the international mime festival “MIME FEST” in Policka (the Czech Republic). Most recently, the show competed in “ARABS GOT TALENT” in Lebanon, where it succeeded in the first stages. MIME FEST (Promo)
